William Dias takes out x3 golds in Melbourne Open
Professor William Dias showed why he is the best in Australia when he took out three gold medals at the 2015 IBJJF Melbourne Open on Saturday 28 November 2015. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner Dias took out three titles in the black belt division including:
- Gi – Under 85kg Champion
- Gi – Open Weight Champion
- No-Gi – Under 91kg Champion
Professor William Dias; at only 25, cements himself as one of the best in the country and is ranked no. 47 in the world under Nova União and trained by Masters Goioerê and Rodrigo Feijao. Most admirable is that Dias, is not only a full time father but also coaches what he succeeds in, training jiu-jitsu students almost every day of the week at the academies Brazilian Combat in Malaga and Champions Gym in Highgate. Dias proves that hard work, dedication and passion gets you to the highest level.
William Dias has now collected enough points to represent Australia at the IBJJF World Jiu-Jitsu Championships to be held in Long Beach California in June 2016. Well done to William Dias; a fine example of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and Champions Gym congratulates you on your successes.
