COMMON QUESTIONS
What’s the recommended times per week?
+
We recommend at least 2 sessions per week. This gives your teen enough time on the mats to build habit, learn skills properly, improve fitness, and get the most out of their training without it feeling overwhelming.
How does the program work? Is it once off, a school term or membership?
+
We believe the best results come through consistency. Most teens train at least 2 sessions per week, while some train 4 to 5 times depending on their goals and schedule. We understand teens already have a lot of commitments, so the important thing is building a routine that is realistic and sustainable. Something is always better than nothing.
My teen has never boxed before. Is that okay?
+
Yes — our Teens Boxing classes are built for beginners. Your child does not need experience, fitness or confidence to start. We teach step by step in a safe and supportive environment.
Will my child get hit or be forced to fight?
+
No — not at all. Our focus is technique, fitness, discipline and confidence. Your teen will not be pushed into fighting, sparring or anything they are not ready for.
My child is shy and doesn’t know anyone. Will they fit in?
+
Absolutely. Many teens start feeling nervous, quiet or unsure. Our coaches are used to helping first-timers settle in, feel included and build confidence at their own pace.
Is boxing good for teens with low confidence or bullying issues?
+
Boxing can be a powerful outlet for teens who need more confidence, discipline and self-belief. We focus on teaching them how to carry themselves well, stay calm under pressure and grow stronger physically and mentally.
What if my teen isn’t sporty or fit?
+
That is completely okay. Your child does not need to be sporty to begin. We meet them where they are at and help them improve over time with structure, encouragement and consistency.
Will this help get them off screens and more active?
+
Yes — boxing gives teens a productive physical outlet, a routine to commit to and a place to put their energy. It helps replace more screen time with movement, focus and real-world confidence.
How often should my teen train?
+
For most teens, 2 to 3 sessions per week is a great place to start. It is enough to build skill, confidence and fitness without overwhelming their school and family schedule.
What are the ongoing costs and how does the course work?
+
After the first session, you can continue on either a two classes per week membership or an unlimited membership, depending on how often your teen wants to train.
Can they do other classes?
+
Yes, of course. We just want them to feel safe and start in their own Teens class first. Once they are comfortable and ready, we can guide them into other suitable classes such as Muay Thai, Strength & Conditioning.
What does my child need to bring or wear?
+
Just comfortable workout clothes, a water bottle and a towel. If your teen does not yet have gloves or wraps, we can let you know exactly what is needed to get started.
Is the environment safe and beginner-friendly?
+
Yes — safety, structure and coaching are a big part of what we do. We are not a 100% fight gym. 86% of people train for fun, fitness and lifestyle. We are here to help teens learn properly, feel supported and enjoy training from day one.
What if my teen is nervous about their first class?
+
That is normal. Starting something new can feel intimidating. Our job is to make that first step easier, help them settle in and give them a positive first experience so they want to come back.
